Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Office of Mental Health have awarded funding to bring Youth Safe Spaces to our region, and we are proud to join with our community partners to make it happen at the Alex Eligh Community Center in Newark, NY.

This is not just a Delphi Rise award but a community partnership. The strength of Wayne County shines through in the collaboration of our schools, the Wayne County LGU, the inspiring new leadership at the Alex Eligh Community Center, and the strong network of providers, stakeholders, and local champions who make this community thrive.

Together, we are building a welcoming, peer-led, non-clinical space where youth ages 12–24 can find connection, support, and hope. This investment recognizes the power of Wayne County to lead the way in supporting young people and their mental health.

We are deeply grateful to Governor Hochul, Commissioner Ann Sullivan, and every partner walking with us on this journey. The future is brighter when we lift up our youth—together. 💙

🍎 We’re Looking for Volunteers for the Delphi Rise Food Pantry 🍎
Our Food Pantry serves individuals and families facing substance use challenges, homelessness, and reentry into the community after incarceration — and we need your help to keep it running strong.
As a volunteer, you may:
1. Pack bags of food and essential items for clients
2. Enter data into spreadsheets
3. Restock shelves and unbox products
📅 Time commitment: 1 to 10 hours per week — very flexible
Your time will directly support our neighbors in need, helping them access nourishing food and resources that can change lives.

🌟 Big news from Delphi Rise! 🌟
We’re honored to receive a $14,956 award from the Black Giving Collective to support A Rural Challenge with a Community Solution—an initiative expanding culturally rooted mental health support for Black and Brown youth and families in Wayne County.
This funding will help train 120 community members as Youth Mental Health First Aid instructors, support peer learning circles, and strengthen community outreach. Together, we’re creating safe spaces where young people of color can talk openly about mental health and feel seen, valued, and empowered to seek support.
This builds on our successful pilot funded by the New York State Health Foundation and reflects Delphi Rise’s mission to provide person-centered care, peer support, and community-driven solutions.

🌟 Congratulations to two of our graduates from our Reentry Service’s Ready Set Work program! 🌟
We’re so proud of Raymond and Frankie as well as their hard work and dedication as they build both the skills and confidence to thrive in the workforce.
Ready Set Work is an evidence‑based workforce readiness program designed for people impacted by the justice system. It provides the tools, training, and support needed to build careers and reduce recidivism, making a real difference in the lives of those it serves.
A special thank you to Alicia Sheppard, Darnell Rhodes, Alyssa Knowlton, and especially Laura Koch for overseeing the program and providing the support and guidance to help these amazing community members cross the finish line!
