Here’s a simple three- to four-minute breathing exercise you can practice anytime, anywhere—in a swing or behind a desk—whether you just need a moment of presence or you’re breathing through the challenges and waves of life. 🌊🌪️

I use this breath awareness meditation at the beginning of each of my classes to help us ground into our bodies and into the space. It’s been a personal anchor of mine as a yoga teacher, especially when learning how to settle my nerves at the start of class. 🧘‍♀️

I still remember, after guiding it for several months realizing I was finally at ease—no longer needing the practice just for myself, but able to finally hold space for others with a peaceful heart.

I hope this practice offers you that same sense of grounding. 👣
