For our Health Information literacy study, we are trying to see where there may be gaps in health literacy for visual learners or non-visual learners. Our mission is to understand differences in attitudes, knowledge, and skills as it relates to health information between deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals with the goal of improving access to health information for all. We are comparing 3 cities in this study; Rochester, NY., Chicago, Il., and Flint, Mi. The subject interviews are approximately 2 hours long and the participants will be paid $40.00 for their time.
