It's time to shine — the Aktion Club Car Wash is hitting the lot!

Roll through the ABC West Parking Lot on Friday, August 8 between 10:00AM to 2:00PM. For just $10, your car gets a sparkling shine and you get free refreshments while you wait.

Our crew will be working hard to clean up for a cause. All proceeds support ABC programming, and our amazing individuals served will be hands-on with the wash.

Congratulations to Terry Thorpe on winning the Lowry Award!

Terry earned this award because she shows independence and a deep pride in her work. She has been part of ABC for 50 years and worked at Microtel for over 25 years, learning how to do every job there. She always does her best and cares about doing a good job. She has become more independent by getting her own supplies and asking for more work when needed. Terry rarely misses a day of work and doesn’t like it when ABC is closed. Terry is a great example of hard work and commitment.

Rochester's first Disability Pride Celebration is taking place at Boundless MN tomorrow from 4:00-8:00pm! There will be live music, local disabled artists, vendors and much more. ABC is excited to be there painting faces and spending time with our community. We hope to see you there 😀

July is Disability Pride Month, and we’re excited to celebrate the voices, stories, and strength of the disability community.

Local disability advocates have teamed up to host Rochester's first Disability Pride Summit with sessions on July 9, 16, and 23.

Then on July 26, the anniversary of the ADA, there is a Disability Pride Celebration at Boundless PlaySpace. Come hang out and enjoy an art market, community resources, food, music, fun activities, and more.

Let’s come together, show our pride, and keep pushing for a more inclusive world.
