Your Gift Doubles the Impact for Lindsey

When Lindsey joined ABC in April 2024, she was quiet and reserved, unsure of what to expect. With support, encouragement, and opportunities through ABC’s programs, she has grown into a confident, hardworking self-advocate who is ready to take the next big step toward her dream of a community job.

Through ABC’s pre-vocational and employment programs, Lindsey has built her resilience and stamina, learned to advocate for the kind of work she enjoys, and has even become a leader by teaching staff how to complete tasks and supporting her peers.

Her journey shows that ABC is more than just an agency. It is a place where people with disabilities build confidence, independence, and a future full of possibilities.

This Give to the Max, your support helps create more success stories like Lindsey’s. Thanks to a generous $2,000 matching gift, your donation will go twice as far.

Give early. Give hope.

Last week we celebrated United Way Week, one of our favorite times of the year dedicated to raising money for the United Way of Olmsted County!

Each day brought a new eerie-sistible theme - from Addams Family Day to Glow in the Dark, Wicked, Twin Day, and our grand Halloween finale! The week was packed with fang-tastic fun, including fluffy cotton candy sales, the ever-popular Staff Jail, and our thrilling finale where a few brave DSPs took a pie to the face for a great cause.

Together, we raised over $2,200 for United Way! No tricks, just treats!

A huge thank-you to everyone who participated, donated, and dressed up. Your spirit and generosity make United Way Week such a boo-tiful tradition. We already can’t wait to scare up more fun next year!

Today we celebrate and thank Jack Priggen for his decades of dedication to the disability services community.

Back in 1995, Jack founded Cardinal of Minnesota with just four homes and a big dream — to create something truly different for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Nearly 30 years later, that dream has grown into 44 homes across the state, serving more than 175 amazing individuals with care, compassion, and heart.

As Jack retires after 30 years of leadership, his legacy continues to shine through the culture he created and the lives he touched. Thank you, Jack, for setting a standard of excellence and heart that will guide disability services in Minnesota for years to come.

We’re thrilled to recognize Peyton as a recipient of ABC’s Standing Ovation Award!

After earning the High Five Award for her creativity, positivity, and dedication, Peyton has now been honored by our Leadership Team with one of ABC’s most prestigious recognitions and it’s easy to see why.

Peyton brings a vibrant energy every day. She created a seasonal craft book that’s become a go-to resource for fun and engaging in-center activities, and she continuously finds thoughtful ways to connect with and support individuals — whether that’s through personalized playlists, weekly library visits, or simply showing up with kindness and encouragement.

Her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and patient, respectful approach help create an environment where everyone feels welcome, involved, and empowered to reach their goals.

Peyton, your consistent positivity and care make a lasting impact, and we’re so proud to celebrate you!

Congratulations on this well-deserved Standing Ovation!

Please help us in congratulating Larry on winning the Woodland Outstanding Worker (WOW) Award for Quarter Three! 🎉

Larry has been crushing his general production goals with hard work and dedication. With top-notch attendance and a love for shredding and separating paper, he’s a true rockstar on the floor!

When he is not working, you’ll find Larry tearing it up at the bowling alley every Thursday, always ready for a little friendly competition. And if you know Larry, you know he's the life of the party amongst peers and staff with his jokes!

Thanks for being such an awesome teammate, Larry! Keep up the good work.
