Doc’s Recovery House is a recovery community organization and sober living community that provides recovery housing and peer support to individuals pursuing a life of recovery from addiction in Rochester, Minnesota. We believe recovery is possible, and we’re here to help you every step of the way. Doc’s Recovery House offers pre-treatment housing for individuals looking for somewhere to start their recovery journey; recovery housing after substance use disorder treatment; and long-term recovery housing and peer recovery support to connect you to all of the things recovery has to offer. At Doc’s Recovery House, people are the most important thing to us. We value the human experience and the incredible experiences that come with recovery. We value the glimmer of hope that each resident sees and we value the process of getting your life back.

For the past four weeks, providers and community leaders have been hosting a four-part series on addiction and recovery in the community, hosted by Community Pathways to Family Health & Recovery.

Tonight, we were grateful to present the fourth and final session on inspiring hope and learning about recovery, in partnership with Recovery Is Happening. ❤️

It was a great evening with fantastic discussion exploring the definition of recovery, resources in the community, multiple pathways…and an inspiring recovery story from Jen Lowe, our women’s program manager.

To everyone who joined us for Haunted Hollow on Saturday, we have a small favor to ask. 🙏🏻

One of our amazing Doc’s team members, Lulu, who is also the creative mind behind so much of Haunted Hollow, was in a serious car accident on Saturday morning on her way to help set up the event.

She’s in the hospital and thankfully on the mend ❤️ — but she wasn’t able to be at the event or see so many of her ideas come to life.

From the Wizard of OZbow theme to the photo ops, expertly-styled skeletons, dollhouse, haunted mansion, and more…so many of this year’s best moments and scenes came straight from her sketches, hard work, and imagination months ago.

We’ll be compiling them all to share with Lulu as she heals as a way to bring a surprise & smile to her face. It will mean so much for her to see what you loved most and to feel the love from this incredible community. 💛

The countdown is on - 3rd Annual Haunted Hollow is just 3 days away! 🌪️🎃

We're happy to officially reveal this year's theme: “The Wizard of OZbow” - a haunted Oz experience! Follow the Yellow Brick Road (if you dare) through the woods for a journey filled with traditional Halloween scares, and witches, creepy monkeys, scarecrows and MORE.

👻 Check out the Haunted Woods Map below for a first look at the trail that winds through the woods and up to the party, packed with Oz-themed spooks, classic Halloween thrills, and all-new scenes for 2025.
