East House

East House provides residential, rehabilitation, education and employment programs for individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders.

East House services include counseling, case management, education and employment programs, independent living skills training, social and recreational activities, family education and support.

As we continue to celebrate our 60th anniversary this year, we are excited to share photos from our Mental Health Apartment Program (MHAP) from the past!

The MHAP emphasizes staff and resident participation to create a therapeutic community. Residents take an active role in their own treatment planning and rehabilitation.

Client statement from the past, "The Apartment Program provided a needed structure for me through recreation, groups and activities. The counselors helped me until I was ready to get back on my feet."

As we continue to celebrate our 60th anniversary, we take a trip down memory lane and highlight our Crossroads Program, which are now our chemical dependency programs.

This residential program provided services to adults recovering from substance use disorders and emphasized the importance of staff and resident participation. Residents assumed responsibility for their own behaviors, demonstrated care for one another and shared responsibilities in a community-living environment. Residents also took active roles in their own treatment planning and rehabilitation.
