Congratulations to Yanelys Labour, one of our Behavioral Health Navigators, for receiving the Jordan Health Nursing Scholarship. The award was presented to Yanelys on November 9th at an event held at the Rochester Academy of Medicine, attended by Shelly and Carlett. This scholarship, awarded by Beta Chi Chi, Inc. of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., and Dr. Linda Clark, recognizes her enrollment in a Registered Nursing (RN) program. Yanelys was one of four recipients, and the event was warm and supportive.

Our Story

The health services that became the Jordan Health Center, began more than 100 years ago, in 1904, and was one of the first five Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) established in the nation. Located in neighborhoods where the most pressing need exists, Jordan’s roots are steeped in service to underserved and uninsured residents, meeting their need for comprehensive health services. Anthony L. Jordan Health Center began in northeast Rochester and has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants of the Rochester and in Canandaigua, N.Y.
