Just finished another reel that is ready to go back to the customer. This is a Kmart 207 reel that ended up being a partial restoration. It is a very sentimental reel for the owner and I enjoyed working on it. It's ready to get back out there and start catching big ones again.

REEL CLEANING COST
Freshwater Reels: Prices start at $25 per reel for standard freshwater baitcasting and spinning reels. There is an additional $5.00 charge for reels that are exceptionally dirty.

Bait Runner Reels: Prices start at $35

Saltwater Spinning Reels: Prices start at $35 per reel.

Conventional Saltwater reels: Prices start at $35.

Saltwater Reels (Lever Drag): Prices start at $40.

Saltwater Reels (2-Speed Lever Drag): Prices start at $45.

*The cost per reel may rise based on the severity and complexity of the cleaning required, as well as any issues that result in additional time spent on the reel.

​REEL REPAIR COST
Starting at $20 per reel, plus the cost of parts (and shipping, if applicable). This service is for repairs only; cleaning is not included.

Repair estimates are $15. However, if we proceed with the repair of your reel, the estimate fee will be waived. All parts must be paid for in advance before ordering.

Valley Reel Works provides high-performance parts for a wide range of fresh and saltwater reels. Enhancements include upgraded bearings (stainless steel, ceramic, or high-speed) and Carbontex drag washers, among others.

Return Shipping
Our preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority, cost for the first reel is $13.50 and $2.00 for each additional reel.

UPS shipping is available at an additional cost based on package and destination.

Vallley Reel Works is open for business!

It has been a rough year. Covid, problems with the shop, a week in the hospital, a month on IV antibiotics..... I could go on and on, but no. Long storty short, the bench is clear and I am again accepting reels for service and cleaning.
