Liminal space (in healing):
Liminal space is the in-between state, the threshold between what was and what is becoming. In healing, it’s the moment where the old patterns, identities, or coping strategies no longer fully fit, but the new way of being hasn’t fully landed yet.

It’s not the wound anymore…
and not the fully healed version yet.
It’s the doorway.

In this space, the nervous system is more open, the subconscious is more accessible, and transformation happens more easily. That’s why practices like yoga, breathwork, sound healing, meditation, and deep rest are so powerful, they gently guide people into liminal space, where the body and psyche can reorganize without force.

Restorative poses with deep support give the body proprioceptive feedback — basically a signal to the nervous system that it’s safe to relax.
When you live with trauma, ADHD, or AuDHD, your system often stays in fight, flight, or freeze, even when you’re “resting.”
This kind of practice gives your brain and body a map back to calm — through weight, warmth, and breath.
It’s not about flexibility.
It’s about safety, softness, and letting your body remember what ease feels like.

Today, for me, is about slowing down and letting myself just be.
Not forcing anything, not chasing the next thing just softening into what’s here letting everything integrate.

Sometimes alignment isn’t about adding more routines or goals… it’s about remembering that even the earth rests between seasons.
We’re meant to pause too.

Each breath, each stretch, each quiet moment tonight was a reminder that I don’t have to earn rest.
I just have to let it happen.
