Congratulations to Electrophysiologist, Dr. Kara Turpin, and members of our electrophysiology lab team at Piedmont Medical Center Rock Hill for completing our first Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) procedure. 🩺

PFA is a new treatment for atrial fibrillation (AFib) that works to target only cardiac cells, sparing the esophagus and nerves from collateral injury. PFA uses short bursts of electrical pulses to form small pores in cells, treating atrial fibrillation.
