We surprised this sweet lady with a well-deserved retirement celebration! 💐 Ruthie has been part of our family for over a decade, serving in many roles—receptionist, caregiver, medical records clerk, and Activity Director. Today marks her “last” day as she steps into a new chapter and a brand-new year. Thank you, Ruthie, for your dedication, heart, and commitment to our residents. 💜

And a heartfelt thank you to our residents and families for their generous donations to the employee Christmas fund. We are so thankful for this wonderful community!

We loved our visit to the Billy Graham Library! Between the beautiful Christmas decorations and the message of hope and faith, it was a great reminder of what this season is really all about. So grateful for moments that bring reflection, gratitude, and joy this time of year.

We’re proud to share that our team raised over $1,400 in support of the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Every step, every dollar, and every voice brings us closer to a world without this disease.

A heartfelt thank you to Winthrop University President Edward Serna and the Winthrop family for inviting our resident and staff alumni and Winthrop supporters to Convocation in the beautifully, renovated Byrnes Auditorium. We were honored to witness the start of the 140th academic year and be part of a beautiful new tradition—lighting the Winthrop Way.

One of the most moving sights was the sea of blue filling the audience—students gathered together, filled with hopes, dreams, and anticipation for what the next four years will bring.

It was an honor to witness this milestone, and we left encouraged and energized by the spirit of Winthrop. Here’s to a new year of growth, tradition, and countless opportunities!
