When our Activity Director’s grandson Mason came to visit, he brought more than just smiles—he brought SLIME! 🧪💚

At first, residents weren’t sure what to expect, but once they got their hands in the mix, they couldn’t stop laughing and playing. They described it as sticky, cold, clammy, wet... and FUN!

Mason was a huge hit, and the big question now is: “When are we making slime again?!”

There’s nothing like a picnic in the park! 🧺🌳

Residents from Kempton of Rock Hill enjoyed a beautiful day at one of our favorite spots—Glencairn Garden. We found the perfect shady spot, relaxed on swings and benches, and shared lunch surrounded by nature.

It was a peaceful and joyful afternoon—already looking forward to our next picnic adventure!

💜 What an incredible two days at Kempton of Rock Hill! Our CDP Training & Dementia Live® Experience was nothing short of transformative. Huge thanks to Senior Consulting Advisors - Upstate South Carolina—especially Scott Miller, Jessica & Steve Wylie—for sponsoring and supporting this $8,000+ initiative that brought powerful education and empathy-driven experiences to our community.

Special appreciation to Cat from Tranquil Transitions and Marcy from Still Alive Inside for leading the most impactful CDP training we’ve ever attended! Their passion and synergy were inspiring, and we’re grateful to now be part of their mission.

We are also thrilled to have already welcomed a new resident thanks to our partnership with Senior Consulting Advisors—their first placement with us! 🎉

It was truly revitalizing to be surrounded by passionate advocates who lead with heart. 💫

We brought the taste of the fair right to our community with homemade Lemon Shake Ups! 🍋🎡 After rolling, slicing, adding sugar, ice, and a splash of water—we shook them like crazy and had a blast doing it! So refreshing and so much fun. We’re already planning how we’ll “shake” things up with a new recipe next time!

We may not have made it to the shore, but we brought the beach to us! 🏖️🌞 With beach music, games, beach balls, shaved ice, and even sandcastle building, it was a perfect beach day right here at home. We shared stories of past beach trips, laughed a lot, and best of all—no sunburns! 😎🌊

We’ve been busy in the garden and loving every minute of it! 🌱☀️ Our squash and cucumbers are thriving, and it’s been so rewarding to watch everything grow. There’s nothing better than getting our hands in the soil—next up: pumpkins! 🎃

We’re always so grateful for the incredibly talented Michelle Cook, who generously shares her time and creativity with us every few months! 🎨💐 This time, we painted beautiful florals—and it was amazing to see how each resident put their own unique spin on the project. With Michelle's guidance, we all feel like famous artists for a day!

Family Fun Day with Memory Care was an absolute blast! 🎉 We kicked things off with a heartfelt prayer from Pastor Mark, then filled the day with music, dancing, singing, laughter—and of course, plenty of watermelon and cookies! 🍉
