Red Light Therapy is becoming well known, and for good reason. There are several benefits to using red light therapy in the massage environment. As Massage Therapists, we let out clients know how important hydration and stretching is after a deep tissue massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. When adding Red Light Therapy to the session, the chances of deep muscle soreness and inflammation lessen.

I used to tell my clients, "You may not like me very much tomorrow, but give it a day or two." Red Light Therapy is now one of my favorite tools to use in those deep sessions and my clients get all the benefits.

I've practiced Sound Healing for over 10 years. I will never forget the first time I felt the vibration of a crystal singing bowl ring and vibrate through my entire body. I was hooked and I felt there was nothing else like it.

Each time I participated, I had a different experience. Sometimes it was more physical, and other times it was more energetic or spiritual. I remember laying on a yoga mat while tears effortlessly leaked from my eyes. I didn't know what to think. Was I crying? My eyes were. But deep inside myself I felt joy. It was the feeling I would get as a kid on Christmas Eve. Butterflies in my stomach, all of my family together in the same room, and we were all happy. I was excited because I believed in magic. And that feeling had just come back to me right there on my mat 30 years later out of the blue.

To this very day, each session is different for me, no matter if I am a participant or the facilitator. What will Sound Healing do for you?

Fall is right around the corner! I can feel the crispness in the air! Although the days begin to shorten, the break in the hot weather gets me excited for long sleeves, hot cocoa, and bonfires.

As a little girl, I loved collecting leaves when they were vibrant with color and I would shuffle my feet through the piles of crispy leaves that had fallen under the trees. I remember the smell of burning wood in the air just before the sky turned gray for the winter.

As an adult, I love to study fallen leaves. I see their splotches, tears, and imperfections. I wonder what their life was like as a green leaf and how many storms they endured. I love to put them on the fire and listen to them crackle and watch them turn into sparks. Then, the smoke wafts away letting go of everything that once was. Until Spring...
