There are many discussions about the health of our society today that are just now getting the masses attention. It's sometimes hard to believe that many of the things that are being discussed today in the public eye are not something "new". There was a film produced by Jeff Hayes in 2012 called "Doctored". Thank you, Governor Henry McMaster and the State of South Carolina, for declaring October 2025 National Chiropractic Health Month. In alignment with the American Chiropractic Association's 2025 theme, "Get Started with Chiropractic," the proclamation encourages South Carolinians to seek out chiropractic care first and learn more about non-drug treatment options.

The SCCA congratulates the South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners for their recent recognition from the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. The SC BOCE is the 2025 recipient of the Wiley/Pennebaker Outstanding Board Award. This award recognizes the accomplishments of one board to set a new standard for chiropractic regulation.
