We’re excited to share some important news. In October 2025, Sunshine Pediatrics will be joining SouthernMED Pediatrics, a trusted medical group that serves families throughout the state, not just at their office in Fort Mill. This partnership reflects our continued commitment to exceptional care while opening the door to expanded resources and services for your family.

*What does this mean for you?*
There will be no disruption to your care. Our location and phone number will remain the same, and you’ll still be able to see the same trusted providers and staff. The only difference will be our new name (SouthernMED Pediatrics - Rock Hill) and the added support from the SouthernMED family of practices.

As part of this transition, and in accordance with state law, your medical records will automatically become a part of the SouthernMED Pediatrics group, which ensures a seamless continuation of care no matter which location you visit. But if you prefer to transfer your records elsewhere, please contact our office. We’d be sorry to see you go, but we’ll do everything we can to assist you during this transition.

In the coming weeks, you'll receive a welcome packet via email from SouthernMED with helpful information about their team, the expanded services available, and what to expect at your next visit.

We are truly honored to have cared for your family over the years, and we are committed to continuing that relationship as part of the SouthernMED family.

Sooo 🤔... no-brainer, right???

The effect of both Measles and the MMR vaccine per 10,000 children are illustrated in the following graphic.

For Measles, the numbers are 10-30 child deaths, 2000 hospitalizations, and a significant amount of secondary infections and long lasting consequences.

For the MMR vaccine, the numbers are 3 children experience high fever seizures, 0.4 experience blood clotting, and 0.035 experience allergic reactions. Zero known risk of autism.
