Join us in welcoming Dr. Reiser to Affinity Health Center. Dr. Reiser is a board-certified pediatrician with international experience in clinical medicine and public health research. His passions include preventive health care and youth empowerment. He is fluent in English and Spanish and provides the full scope of pediatric care for patients from birth to 21. He is a rabid soccer fan, surfer, and proud father of two. After more than a decade of service on the Grand Strand, Dr. Reiser joins us at Affinity to continue his mission of ensuring high quality, comprehensive, equitable healthcare. Are you a dynamic, highly organized leader passionate about community health including oral health? Join our team as Dental Office Manager and take the lead in driving excellence in dental services. In this role, you’ll provide administrative oversight for dental operations, ensure compliance, and champion innovation including the integration of cutting-edge digital dentistry technologies.

This is not a stand-alone dental practice—our dental program is fully integrated within our community health center and offers a comprehensive range of services, including medical care, dental, behavioral health, and more!

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organization committed to integrated, patient-centered care. As Dental Office Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing dental operations and collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional care to the community.

Salary Range : $60,000-$70,000

Key Responsibilities:
Dental Program Oversight: Provide administrative oversight and coordination of dental services in close collaboration with the dental providers; ensure compliance with regulations; oversee administrative aspects of radiology, infection control, and inventory; manage digital dentistry services including intraoral scanning, 3D printing, workflow optimization.
Quality Control & Inventory: Maintain infection control and OSHA standards; oversee sterilization and equipment maintenance; manage dental supply and inventory; ensure compliance documentation and staff training.
Care Coordination: Optimize patient flow and scheduling; collaborate with patient access and revenue cycle teams; improve billing processes; prior authorizations; integrate dental services across all departments to support patient-centered care.

Education:
· Dental background is strongly preferred (e.g., Certified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist).
· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or dental-related field.
Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities to perform the job duties.

Experience:
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in dental clinic operations.
· At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a dental setting.
· Experience with digital dentistry technology and services including intraoral scanning, 3D printing and optimizing workflow
· Demonstrated knowledge of dental compliance standards (OSHA, HIPAA, CODA) and infection control protocols.
· Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and dental practice management software.
· Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and staff performance.

Licensure/Certifications (Preferred):
· Current BLS certification.
· Dental-related certification (CDA, RDH) or licensure preferred

Many family members describe the impact of this program as life-changing! NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. It is a designated evidenced-based program. This means that research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition.

NAMI Family-to-Family is taught by NAMI-trained family members who have been there, and includes presentations, discussions and interactive exercises.
NAMI Family-to-Family not only provides information and strategies for taking care of the person you love, but you'll also find out that you're not alone. Recovery is a journey, and there is hope.
