Members of our team took part in essential hands-on training to prepare for this year’s racing season at Rapid Speedway. The training focused on vehicle safety, potential dangers for both drivers and responders, and proper extrication techniques. Training like this keeps us sharp and ready to serve our community—on and off the track.

🌟 We are incredibly thankful to the Lyon County Riverboat Foundation for their generous funding during this grant cycle! Thanks to their support, we were able to purchase a new Stryker stairchair and cot, which will greatly enhance our ability to serve our community. 🙏 Your commitment to helping local organizations make a real difference is truly appreciated. As EMS Week 2024 winds up we need to take a minute and give a shout out to Paulette DeWeerd or PDW as we know her! Paulette is leaving us June 14 and while we are sad to see her go, we know she'll do great things in Arkansas!

Thank you Lyon County Riverboat Foundation for the mini-grant award! We were able to purchase 3 Binder Lifts with it! One for each of our rigs!

A Binder Lift snaps around a patient's torso and has handles all around it so we can gently lift the patient back to the standing position if they are uninjured! I'll post a picture of it in the comments!

Had a great night of training last night with Rock Rapids Fire Department , George Fire, and Little Rock Fire and Rescue! Test and Tune is this Saturday and our first Friday night under the lights is May 3.

Miss Bonnie doesn't have Facebook so if you see her in person give her a big congratulations! She is the 2024 Rock Rapids Citizen of the Year and she deserves it! 35 years she's been an EMT and she's not looking to slow down anytime soon. 🥰
