I have been a Massage Therapist for 23+ years and have worked many different types of people. I am passionate about supporting women in caring for themselves and assisting them in practicing self-love. Women are natural nurturers and sometimes put their needs last. If their cups are full, they have more to give in supporting those they love and care for. The feedback I have received about providing a home-based massage studio has been extremely positive. When clients walk through the door, the environment is very calming and welcoming. I find that when I am grounded and centered others immediately feel more comfortable as well. I take time to discuss each client's needs and goals and explain the process fully. I like to talk about expectations and areas of focus to ensure their goals are fully met. I work very hard to create a relaxing environment by keeping my studio space clean and organized, I have beautiful, clear, charged crystals throughout the space, the table is heated with soft blankets. The music is soft and relaxing and can be personalized to the client's preference. The time spent in the studio is completely dedicated to the comfort of the client, after all, that is why they are here! Feel free to call or text me at (207) 922-1690 to discuss your needs and preferences and schedule an appointment with me. I'm currently taking appointments on Sundays and Mondays in my home studio. After receiving my national massage license in Renton, Washington, I opened my first massage studio on Mercer Island, Washington, in 2001 above Island Crest Chiropractic ; Dr, Arthur Chandless. I worked closley on injury treatment referral clients from Dr. Chandless of Mercer Island Chiropractic and Olympic Physical Therapy for 3 years. In 2004 I moved to Everett, Washington, where I opened my second sole-proprietorship. I connected with Dr. Schmidt at Schmidt Family Chiropractic and the Everett branch of Olympic Physical Therapy and collaborated with referrals from these clinics and doctors. My business focus for the first 16 years of my career was Injury Treatment. I learned so much about treatment massage while working with these facilities and the many injury client referrals. During this phase of my career, I certified in Lucero Lymphatic Drainage, 2 levels of Upledger Craniosacral Therapy, Soft Tissue Release Techniques including Rotator Cuff Injury and Rehabilitation and certified as a level 8 Bowenwork Therapist. In 2016 I took a position in Massage Therapy at a lovely, high end spa called the Gated Sanctuary in Snohomish, Washington. I leraned spa techniques of sugar scrub exfoliation, seaweed wraps, and hot stone massage. During my employment at Gated Sanctuary, I opened my first in-home massage studio focusing exclusively on women named Energetic Bodywork for Women. I maintained both positions until Covid in 2020. I took a break from massage at this time and learned to integrate crystal therapy and how to become a conduit and vessel for the expression of source energy. I moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming in September of 2022 in order to be closer to my daughter and her family. I have maintained and currently hold my massage license since obtaining it in Washington Staete in 2000. In February of 2023 I gained employment at Maya Medi Spa in Rock Springs and am maintaining my position there while creating my new in home studio under the name Energetic Massage for Women.
