Welcome to MED+CBD... this is a new forum to share my story and others stories on how cbd and cannibis has helped us get through the pain. Everyday I meet more and more people in pain and they have no where to turn. Modern medicine has left them behind or buried them in pills and prescriptions.
In my instance my life was changed when a tractor trailer decided to come into my lane and change everything. It brought me down a path of extreme pain, depression and an eye opening experience of the epidemic bigger than any disease around... PAIN... pain is not sexist, racist, doesn't care if your young or old or in between. It ruins lives, families, work, business, relationships love or business alike and does not deter, it is determined, violent, sadistic and just plain mean. Most people living in pain hide it, to feel normal, hide it to not worry loved ones, hide it to be brave, hide it to keep their job... But in the dark, when no one is looking those in pain suffer with the truth, cry, pray, do anything to get away from it even for a minute, make deals to have even a moment of sanity. Unfortunately some people reading this won't understand how one can live with this. The ones that do live with with it are sympathetic to others because they know the other side. For those not suffering its not your fault, when I was healthy I was that person saying how bad could it be, suck it up or come on just deal with it. Unfortunately I know the truth now. My pain is at the nerve level. I am on my 2nd major surgery now along with countless procedures and am still dealing with tremendous nerve issues on a daily basis. Doctors in the the beginning have such high hope and after a while they run out of options. In comes the natural route. Now let me start with saying it doesn't work the same way for everyone. It took me at my absolute lowest point to get me to learn, research, ask questions, crawl and climb and beg. I have to thank many in the medical field for starting my journey. They lead me to meet so many wonderful and helpful people that have found other ways to deal. And every day it shows the promise of progress and a better way for everyone. Now the almighty dollar still drives the healing of people but know there are some working to change that. In this blog I will introduce the many that have tried to and have helped tremendously. Again, it's not the same for everyone But I promise there is another way. Keep hope, not just in doctors, but in people, people that want to help other people. And keep hope in the medical field, there are some trying to make a difference and they are... There is a lot to come and my only hope is that it helps another in pain that thinks there is no hope. I promise that it's not always gonna be dark, trust in people, do research, don't take no for an answer and when we are at our lowest keep hope as your light, we will rise together . Keep the faith...
