Bumpkin Song is the opening track of the Doctor Cook’s Garden album Deep Summer Haze. Recorded at Lunanoiz Farm Studio in the summer of 2000.

January is the closing track of an early concept album of mine called midnight's noon. The album is about a year in the life of a daydreamer who wanders around searching for his lost love, never knowing if it's day or night or if he's awake or asleep dreaming. This version of January has the extra long ending where previous songs flashback before the dreamer wakes up, walks downstairs & puts the opening song (midnight's noon) back on which starts the whole cycle over. Is he awake? Is he asleep? Hell...I dunno.
This is a very early recording of mine & is a bit long, weird & rough around the edges but I still like it. The song & video were inspired by an animated short that I loved as a kid (& still do!) called The Snowman.
