Ending 2025 with some adaptive equipment training. Apex has served 38 people in 2025. I know that may not sound like a lot, but I know the impact that these services have on people’s lives. I’m pretty proud of this little business and I have plans to continue growing and serving more people in 2026.

Final fitting day is my favorite! I get to see my friends at AMS Auto and the great work that they do. And I get to watch my clients drive their own vehicles for the first time with their new equipment. It is the culmination of a lot of hard work and a long process. Congrats to Neal on regaining his independence! Happy driving! 🚗

Meet Richie. Richie almost lost his life just a few months ago, but you would never know it meeting him today. He has made an unbelievable recovery and today he took another step in that recovery by passing his driving evaluation! He is one step closer to getting back to his life as a firefighter/paramedic. As a former police officer, he was a good sport about the student driver stickers 😂 Congrats Richie! 🥳

Spent the last couple of days in Winamac, IN at the BraunAbility plant touring the factory and sharpening my clinical reasoning skills for complex vehicle modifications. The best part was getting to spend time with other OT driving nerds like myself!

Meet Michael.

Michael suffered a stroke from a ruptured aneurysm. Now there is never a good time for something like this to happen, but it was a particularly difficult time for Michael and his wife as they had a three month old son at home. I had the pleasure of working with Michael early in his recovery in inpatient rehab and could not believe how far he has come since then. Truly incredible!

Today, with his very cute and sweet son watching on, he passed his driving evaluation with flying colors! Congrats Michael! 🥳🤗🤩 Thanks for allowing Apex to be apart of your journey!
