For those of you who are new, I thought I would introduce myself. When I am not treating patients as a physical therapist, you can find me in my kitchen! It is my favorite place to spend my free time and I love entertaining my family and friends. I love to create and share my favorite food from scratch recipes. My love of the kitchen started with my Italian Nonas, Anne & Mary, my mom and my aunts. 🇮🇹

I have been a physical therapist for 32 years and in 2018 my passion for improving my health, along with my love of cooking and entertaining led me to become a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through classes from The Nutritional Therapy Association. My love for learning continued and in 2020, I started to take classes in Herbalism and developed a passion for creating skincare with organic herbs along with learning more about food and recipes that support health and happiness during a time when we needed it most! 🌿

I am also a licensed RESTART Instructor and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. I am a retired Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. 🧠💪🏻

I was born and raised in Rockford and after graduating from St. Louis University, I moved to the Chicago suburbs for a short time and then moved to downtown Chicago for over 20 years, where I met and married my husband. We have one son who is a senior in college. We have been in Rockford for 11 years since leaving Chicago and we have enjoyed living closer to family and settling down to a slower pace of life. 🏡

I hope you’ll follow me along on my journey in my kitchen or at the local farmers markets/vendor craft shows. I love meeting and talking with each and every one of you! ♥️

This week’s featured product is are our large Mediterranean Lavender & Sage Lotion Bars. We’re running a summer special and they are regularly $12 and are on sale for 2 for $18. They make great birthday and wedding/baby shower gifts!

Our lotion bars are made with non-toxic quality ingredients including organic beeswax, organic shea butter, organic mango butter, organic jojoba oil infused with organic lavender bud and organic lavender, clary sage & bergamot essential oils.
