REMINDER: Sign Up Today for 2025's Fire Cider Workshop

Description: Fall is my favorite season. It always brings to mind the feeling of a brisk wind, comfy sweaters, and warm drinks. This is the time of year I get together my ingredients to make fire cider using a combination of warming, immune supporting herbs and foods paired with honey and apple cider vinegar. This workshop will include making your very own fire cider (two parts) to take home with you. Supplies are included in the price, and you will also receive a handout on how to make your own fire cider at home.

The annual fire cider workshop is held in person every fall at Hazelnut Naturopathic Health. Come hang out and learn to support your health at home!

I love the fall harvest foods, second only to berries in the late spring and early summer. But did you know pumpkin is also great for your health? Especially if you are a male? Pumpkin (Cucurbita sp.) has been used by humans for centuries for its health benefits. Now to share the secrete of making bone broth... This is surprisingly easy to make, and it requires only a little bit of effort on your part. If you just ate organic chicken for dinner or you have some soup bones ready to go, you are all set! I use a heavy splash of vinegar (you can use apple cider too), then I add a fresh onion, garlic, 2-3 celery stalks, a few carrots, and I throw it in the crockpot overnight. In the morning, voila!
