The National Sleep Foundation encourages young adults 18-25 years old and adults ages 26-64 years old to get between 7 and 9 hours of sleep every night! Those over 65 years of age should get between 7 and 8, and children should get much more the younger they are.

Sleep is “Nature’s Nurse”. There are so many benefits of getting enough sleep besides being refreshed and rejuvenated, with improved mood, restored organ function, and a stabilized chemical imbalance just to name a few.

Do you know how much sleep is recommended for the average adult according to the National Sleep Foundation?
