Unfortunately, injuries are apart of sports. While we work to reduce injury risk, we know that they will happen at some point for most athletes.

When an athlete gets injured, the first 72 hours after an injury are crucial for setting the stage for a strong return, no matter what type of injury.

What you do or don't do in those first three days can determine whether you return in a few weeks at 100%, or not.

In the immediate aftermath of injury, it not about doing nothing but the right things at the right time.

In this episode of What Chiropractic Doesn’t Cure: Stories of Innate, we have a really cool story about a young child who was stuck in sympathetic overdrive.

He and his parents were struggling so much, and he was so wild that both sets of grandparents had moved in to help his parents with him.

(Spoiler alert: Now this child is on his way to engineering school!)

I see some of the healthcare facilities are requiring masking I would challenge everyone to actually trust the science.

Medical or surgical masks

Ten studies took place in the community, and two studies in healthcare workers. Compared with wearing no mask in the community studies only, wearing a mask may make little to no difference in how many people caught a flu-like illness/COVID-like illness (9 studies; 276,917 people); and probably makes little or no difference in how many people have flu/COVID confirmed by a laboratory test (6 studies; 13,919 people). Unwanted effects were rarely reported; discomfort was mentioned.
