Rockford veterans at Peterson Meadows get revamped patio

Earlier this week, our community gathered to celebrate the addition of a Veterans Memorial Patio to the Peterson Meadows campus.

We are blessed to have so many Veterans living and working in our community. The patio is a fitting tribute to them and the many brave men and women who sacrificed so much to preserve our freedom.

The dedication ceremony featured messages from Peterson Meadows resident LaVerne Larson and Chaplain Allen Shuler, who are both Veterans. Members of VietNow Veterans were in attendance to raise the flag, and staff member and Veteran Ron Priddy led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Thank you to all of our Veterans for their service. We are glad to have this meaningful tribute to them as a permanent part of our campus.
