☀Summer Staff Series☀

Traverse City Physical Therapist, Anna, completed a weekend backpacking trip on the Manistee River Trail with four moms and their four 5th graders for their first ever "mom and kid backpacking trip"! Anna grew up backpacking and canoeing and is enjoying sharing new outdoor experiences with her family and friends. On this trip, they hiked 18 miles in 3 days, slept in tents for 2 nights, filtered water, swam in the river and cooked on small camping stoves.

What are the best hiking trails that you have experienced?

☀Summer Staff Series☀

First up in our "Summer Staff Series" is Traverse City PT, Betsy. Betsy recently returned from a multi-generational family backcountry canoe trip in Killarney Provincial Park in Ontario. The ages of their group ranged from 8 to 78, including Betsy's children and parents. They enjoyed beautiful views and made memories with family. Photographed are just a few activities and experiences from their trip, including canoeing (of course), wearing of very stylish (and functional) bug defense gear, and transporting canoes through portage areas when necessary.

Keep an eye out for what other LBBRG team members are doing to stay active and have fun this summer!
