1960s seatbelts. I’m sure they needed massive amounts of chiropractic care after even the smallest accident (if they survived), but hey! At least they didn’t go through the windshield. Just goes to show that sometimes ideas that seem idiotic to us now may have been the cutting edge of science in the past.
