Our Story

Senior Helpers of Rockford provides dependable, consistent and affordable in-home non-medical personal and companion care services to assist the elderly, disabled or convalescent maintain their independence in the privacy of their home and provide peace of mind for their families. Our caregivers possess a genuine desire to help people and require qualities such as experience, patience and understanding. Caregivers provide a host of non-medical services such as: cooking a meal, taking a client to the doctor’s office, housekeeping chores, doing laundry, medication reminders, assistance with bathing and dressing, personal hygiene assistance and walking assistance. Senior Helpers of Rockford is licensed by the State of Illinois and all caregivers are insured and bonded and must pass a fingerprint criminal and felony background investigation. By offering our services on an hourly basis up to 24-hours “round the clock”, we can handle any situation that may arise. Our Focus - Dependability of Service - Continuity of Caregivers - Peace of Mind for the Family - Quality of Life for the Client - Independent Living in the Home Services - - Companionship & Homemaking - Personal Care - Live-in Care - Peace of Mind Visits - Transition Assistance - Sitter Assistance - Respite Care - Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Our Process - We have a professional, process-oriented staff ready to serve our clients and their families. When a prospective client contacts a Senior Helpers office, they set up a complimentary initial assessment at the client’s location to discuss the client’s needs and formulate a care plan. If necessary, a staff member, Social Worker or RN (depending on the State regulations) will conduct a full nursing assessment to gauge the client’s status and clarify the care plan. They determine the most appropriate caregiver for the client using the assessment information and the caregiver matching process. Service starts on the pre-determined date.
