This week, we would like to shout out our Administrative Manager, Liz! Liz has been with RAMP for over 14 years, doing behind the scenes work to help RAMP's offices function! From supporting development, being an IT expert, and overseeing the smiling faces you see at the front desk, Liz is an essential part of helping us run smoothly. Thank you for all you do Liz!

Image description: Text says “Hi! I’m Liz, the Administrative Manager at RAMP. I do the behind the scenes work - pulling reports, collecting, reviewing and updating data. Many tasks to ensure things are being done uniformly in direct services. I also supervise the Office Support Sepcialists in the office and provide guidance and training as needed.
I enjoy the role RAMP plays in the community in watching as partnerships lead to big changes for the individuals we serve. It is a feel-good job and a constant reminder that helping others benefits all and shows us each and every day that although what we are doing may feel small, it can make a huge impact on those we serve. “

ASL interpreters are an important part of accessibility on TV and in real life. Some may wonder, "why do we need interpreters if we have captions?" A significant portion of the Deaf community mainly use American Sign Language (ASL) for communication, and may have trouble with written English. Therefore, interpreters help make TV, events, and other communication more accessible for the Deaf community.
