Managing diabetes as we age takes more than checking numbers. It’s about staying confident, active, and connected.

Here are five practical tips to support your health. JET Healthcare is here for you every step of the way!
1. Stay active every day (even a gentle walk counts)
2. Choose colorful whole foods and lean proteins for your meals
3. Monitor your blood sugar and keep a simple record of results
4. Make sure you get your annual screenings (eyes, feet, kidneys)
5. Lean on someone, a caregiver, friend, or health professional. You don’t have to go it alone!

Use it or lose it

Find a stable chair and try these simple exercises to maintain your strength and balance.

As always, use caution when trying new exercises and always have a stabilizer at hand.
