In this week’s Mission Partner Monday, we spotlight Jennifer B., sterile processing instrument technician.

“I’ve been with OSF for 14 years and counting! In my role, we are responsible for cleaning, packaging and the sterilization of surgical instrumentation,” Jennifer said.

At OSF our Mission is to serve with the greatest care and love.

“We all know someone who has been in a hospital or care setting of some sort. We all want the best for our patients because it could always be someone we love or ourselves in that position,” she said.

🎉Hello, baby! 🎉

We are excited to announce the first baby of 2026 in Rockford was born at OSF Saint Anthony!

Little baby girl Nai'Aree joined parents Nauticca and Martavian at 12:50 a.m. on January 1, 2026!

The sweet bundle of joy weighs 6 pounds 4.5 ounces and measures 19 inches.

Our OB team puts together themed baskets and onesies for babies born on holidays throughout the year.

Congrats to the happy family!

We are always excited to show local leaders what we are doing with OSF Innovation and Jump Simulation!

A group of local Rockford leaders stopped by to tour Jump Trading Simulation & Education Center, one of the largest simulation and innovation centers in the world.

OSF Innovation strives to be a world-class innovation center elevating clinical excellence through bold ideas, meaningful technology, translational research and immersive learning.

As part of OSF Innovation, Jump Simulation offers hands-on classes for medical professionals. Courses cover topics such as trauma response, critical care, facilitation and more. Each class is designed to build confidence, strengthen skills and support growth at any stage of your career through simulation-based education.

Thank you to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center OSF Innovation for providing City of Rockford coalition a tour of the Junp Trading Simulation and Education Center and a tour of Distillery Labs. So many great ideas and partnerships will come from our visit!

Great to have Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce, Waldom Electronics Corporation, Rock Valley College, and University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford on the trip to Peoria!
