If you have looked online at our pods and wondered if you will feel claustrophobic during a float, rest assured, you will not.

Our pods are the size of a small car and when you lay down in them, there is 4 foot of space between you and the top. With an interior space of 7ft long by 5.5ft wide, there is plenty of room to move around and most often, you never touch the sizes!

When you enter the pod, you sit down and use a handle in the hood to lower it yourself. It cannot be locked and you can lift it open whenever you need to.

With 2 vents at the head of the pod, you can feel comfortable that there is thorough ventilation and plenty of fresh air.

"My husband gave me a gift card to Forest City Float for my birthday. I have chronic back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia and I have tried chiropractic, massages and doctors so I thought I would give this a try. I was skeptical going in because of my neck, it is hard for me to lay flat. After about 10 minutes into it I realized I did not have tension in my neck. After I was finished I was amazed how my whole body felt relaxed and pain free. I could actually move my neck side to side with ease. I was pain free about 4 days before the tension came back but didn’t seem as bad. I totally recommend the float. I will go again!"

We often get asked "should I bring my swimsuit?". And the answer is if that makes you feel more comfortable, absolutely. But when we're talking about sensory deprivation at its finest, if you wear a swimsuit and you're in the pod you will feel that wet swimsuit on your body and that will take away from the deeper effects of sensory deprivation, because you can feel the suit.

We don't want you just feeling like you're floating in water, we want you actually feeling like you're floating in mid-air!
