Children are well aware of things going on in our country currently. They see the news and social media and overhear others talking. Ignoring their concerns, spoken or not, only breeds anxiety. They need adults to support and validate their feelings and explain things as best they can, in language kids can relate to, as well as offer ways to manage their feelings.
