We recently partnered with Molina Healthcare for a 55+ BINGO event with Rockford Police Community Engagement officers at the Rockford Illinois Police Department District 1 location! 🎉

In between bingo games, Dr. Christine Manoj, a family medicine resident physician at Mercyhealth Alpine and Mercyhealth Byron, gave a presentation on cold and flu season. She educated attendees on the differences between cold and flu symptoms and reminded everyone of the importance of receiving a flu vaccine.

Growing readers into leaders! Members of the Mercyhealth Volunteer Association board recently visited the Stenstrom Boys & Girls Club of Rockford to deliver a $500 donation.

This gift will help purchase books for their library—providing more opportunities for young readers to learn, explore, and grow through their tutoring programs. 💙

Dr. Imdad Ahmed and nurse practitioner Emily Cox recently led educational sessions in Rockford and Janesville on comprehensive atrial fibrillation management. ❤️

The presentation helped Mercyhealth registered nurses and advanced practice physicians better understand how to balance stroke prevention, bleeding risk, and heart failure, including when to consider ablation and left atrial appendage closure device implantation.
