HEADS UP: It’s a beautiful day to begin replacing part of the roof here at MRH-Richmond. Crews will be installing a new roof on our patient tower over the next few weeks, resulting in a small change in how vehicles can access the hospital's main entrance.

Foot traffic will not be impacted, and our public safety crews will be ready to help anyone who needs extra assistance getting into or out of the hospital. We apologize for any inconvenience the project may cause.

🌨 MRH-Richmond Update | As we continue to respond to the winter weather and extreme cold in our area, we will delay outpatient services until noon (12 p.m.) on Monday, January 26. This includes elective surgical procedures and imaging tests. Please use extreme caution if you are traveling to our campus.

🤒 🏥 🤧 As flu activity continues to rise across the region, FirstHealth is reinforcing visitor guidelines and encouraging preventive measures to protect patients, visitors and health care teams.

Visitor restrictions are in place at all FirstHealth facilities, including our four hospitals, to reduce the spread of respiratory illness during this flu season. Some important reminders:

- Patients are limited to two visitors at a time
- No visitors under the age of 12 are permitted
- During this period of increased flu activity, visitation by immediate family only is strongly encouraged
- People with any respiratory symptoms, including cough, fever, sore throat or congestion should not visit
