Yesterday, many members of the Welch Senior Living executive team came together for our annual Holiday lunch at Alba. It was a chance to step away, reconnect, and celebrate our colleagues and the year behind us. We are grateful for the leadership, commitment, and care this group brings to their work and to Welch Senior Living every day. This tradition is a reminder that the people behind the work truly do feel like family.

Each of our Welch Senior Living communities was proud to participate in the 2025 annual Coop's Troop Holiday Toy Drive!

Every year, our residents, staff, friends, and family join together to donate gifts of all kinds for the benefit of Coop’s Troop, a local charity supporting those fighting against childhood illnesses.

We were honored to meet with Cooper's family last weekend as we dropped off our donations in support of this local, nonprofit charitable organization.

At Welch Senior Living, we are honored to support the 10th Coop’s Troop Holiday Toy & Wish Drive, a tradition rooted in love, community, and the legacy of Cooper Matthew Richards.

Cooper passed away at age three from the rare genetic disease GM1. For the past decade, his family, led by his incredible mom, Kelly Richards, a former longtime Welch associate at Hancock Park, has turned their grief into generosity, helping hundreds of local children and families experience a brighter holiday season.

Every year, our residents, staff, friends, and family come together to donate gifts of all kinds for the benefit of Coop’s Troop, a local charity that supports those fighting childhood illnesses.

🎁 All Welch Senior Living communities are proud to serve as official drop-off locations. Donation boxes will be displayed in each main lobby, and we invite residents, families, associates, and community members to join us in support of Coop’s Troop.
