Did you know that my business Harbor Apothecary makes a pain relieving salve that is all organic and natural? This salve has dozens of positive reviews and even out of state customers who purchase multiple jars when visiting the area!

It is available in my studio in Rockland and it will soon be available in cannabis dispensaries in the area! This is a combo blend of arnica, CBD & full spectrum cannabinoids.

Beeswax is one of the oldest documented preservatives. Did you know that when ancient tombs have been opened in Egypt they often find jars of honey sealed with beeswax; and when opened the honey is still edible? Beeswax was also mixed with pigments to paint murals and portraits. Now 2,000 years later, the colors are still vibrant and in wonderful condition (and the paintings naturally repel dust!)

Beeswax is both antiseptic and anti-fungal! In our creams beeswax is nearly always the first ingredient. Beeswax is a natural organic substance that is non-toxic. Beeswax is also impermeable so when it’s melted and mixed into a cream it sets up a barrier in and around the other ingredients; sealing in freshness. We have opened jars more than 30 years old and the creams are still usable and have no bacteria because of the beeswax.

Beeswax cannot be absorbed though the skin so it sets up a loose protective barrier on top of the skin. This locks in moisture and helps to keep the skin hydrated. Beeswax is also a humectant – meaning it actually attracts more water into the skin when you are exposed to humid conditions.

It feels like summer!!! I have a few notices I’d like to share:::

I know most ppl want to be outside enjoying the nice weather when they get a chance so I will continue to offer evening appointments.

I will be opening Saturdays starting 6/22
***There will only be 3 (100minute) appointments available starting at 10:00 AM.

I am still working at a reduced booking capacity as I continue to prioritize my family and my mental health. Availability will go to established clients first. Because of this, It’s very important clients keep their scheduled appointments. If you do need to cancel for any reason please give me as much notice as possible.

***I will be enforcing my cancellation policy and clients will be charged for no shows or last minute cancellations.
It’s encouraged that you find someone to take your appointment should you find you’re unable to attend.****
