Marriage Monday

Arguments are not always what they seem. I like to say to the couples I counsel - "It's never about what it's about". Often conflict escalates when we don't feel seen, heard or valued.

"You didn't do the dishes!" = you didn't hear me when I asked for a need to be met. Try to meet conflict with vulnerability....and be clear what it is you are really feeling.
