KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident and high-character kids.

KidStrong is Athletic Play—a new kind of activity for kids ages 1-11 that builds confidence, character and family connection through science-based fitness games led by expert coaches. Our program is designed with the whole child in mind, focusing on three key pillars: Character, Physical and Cognitive development. We teach kids to believe in themselves, show parents their kid’s superpowers and help families grow together in moments of celebration and showing off.

Practicing social greetings is beneficial for kids as it helps them develop crucial social-emotional skills like communication, empathy, and confidence.
Greetings establish positive relationships, foster a sense of belonging, and encourage inclusivity. They also teach important social cues and how to navigate social situations effectively.

At KidStrong we know confidence starts in the body. That’s why this week we’re celebrating the brain and body power of the broad jump.

We love this jump—a move that involves leaping as far as possible without a running start—because it supports:

🧠 Mind-body connection: Jumping and landing with control is essential for better spatial awareness, coordination, and timing. 🧠

🦘 Explosive power: The ability to produce max force matters because it improves athletic performance and even reduces the risk of injury.*🦘

💪 Core strength & stability: Every jump builds the muscles needed for good posture and balance. 💪

🤸Self-esteem & confidence: Making a jump boosts self-esteem, which makes them more willing to try new things and take on new challenges in the future. 🤸

When kids learn the broad jump, they’re building strength and balance—as well as the confidence and courage to move through the world with power and purpose.

Bear crawls offer numerous benefits for kids, including improved:

This exercise also strengthens arms, shoulders, and legs, while boosting cardiovascular fitness and building endurance. Additionally, bear crawls can improve hand-eye coordination and contribute to a stronger mind-body connection.

Push-ups are a powerhouse movement for total development!

This week at KidStrong, we’re continuing to focus on one of the most important and versatile bodyweight skills: THE PUSH-UP! 💥💥

Push-ups support whole-child development because they are:

✔️ A functional movement that supports joint alignment
✔️ A core, shoulder and postural strength builder—which supports kids inside and outside of the classroom
✔️ Able to support discipline, endurance and confidence. Push-ups aren’t about speed—they’re about form and doing it RIGHT.
