We are so excited to officially WELCOME BACK Dr. Emily to the Smile Island ‘ohana, and she is already having so much fun meeting new patients!

Dr. Emily is a board-certified pediatric dentist who brings the perfect mix of energy, kindness, and clinical expertise to every visit. Her goal is simple: help kids feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about taking care of their smiles.

With advanced training in pediatric dentistry and experience caring for children of all abilities, Dr. Emily is especially passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for every patient who walks through our doors.

A few fun things about Dr. Emily:
• She was a Division 1 track & field athlete
• She now coaches track and loves helping young athletes grow
• She can even be found DJing school dances and community events 🎧

So whether she’s helping a little one through their very first visit or guiding teens through healthy smile habits, Dr. Emily brings warmth, positivity, and a whole lot of fun to the Smile Island team.

Today is all about love, laughter, and maybe a little chocolate too. We fully support celebrating with your favorites. Just keep your smile in mind while you do.

A few Smile Island tips for a tooth-friendly Valentine’s Day:

🍫 Choose chocolate over sticky candy. Chocolate melts and rinses away more easily, while gummies and caramels love to cling to teeth.

🕒 Enjoy sweets with a meal, not as an all-day snack. Saliva production is higher during meals and helps neutralize acids.

💧 Rinse with water after treats. It is a simple step that makes a big difference.
