Pilgrimage to a hot dog stand?
Icelandic hot dogs apparently are famous. One of the Icelandic knitting designer even made a knitted stuffed version of this hot dog. Ingredients include lamb & is topped with raw & crispy onions & 2 sauces. A Costco $1.50 hot dog & drink this is not! Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur have been in business since the 1930s.

Genuine hand knitted Icelandic sweaters are found at Handknitting Association of Iceland. Icelandic sheep are an ancient breed with unique dual layered fleece. Coarse outer waterproof layer is called tog and soft insulated underlayer is called thel. The 2 layers are blended and spun together in what is classically known as “Lopi”.
