Born in Herkimer, New York, Karen is the eldest—and as she proudly says, the most beautiful—daughter in her family… especially since her parents only had boys! 💁‍♀️💖 Karen dedicated 20 years of hard work to General Electric and has always embraced life with a joyful spirit.

She especially cherishes her two sons, enjoys shopping 🛍️, playing cards ♠️, and never misses cheering on her favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers! ❤️🏈

Karen is known for her bright smile, her love for her friends at the dinner table, and her positive outlook on life. She truly embodies her own words: “Keep living, eat well, and be nice.” ✨

🌸🌿 What a beautiful and meaningful day with the UC Davis Reminiscence Gardening Program! 🌿🌸

Residents had a wonderful time learning about new plants while also sharing special memories connected to flowers and nature. The room was filled with the lovely scent of fresh blooms, creating a truly uplifting experience for everyone. 💐💛

To make it even more special, each resident created their own bouquet with their favorite flowers provided by the master gardeners—such a joyful and personal touch! 😊✨

From a young age, Marilyn had a heart for helping others and caring for those around her—and that hasn’t changed one bit! 😊 She continues to shine as the MVP of Ansel Park, always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed.
