Freeman Harris Funeral Home has always considered it a privilege to provide guidance, understanding, and compassion for those community members who have experienced a death. We have proudly served the families in the Rockmart area for over 80 years and have found it to be an honor and privilege to help guide you through a most difficult time.

This is a difficult moment for us, but we are announcing the closing of Freeman Harris Funeral Home. **We will be closing the location permanently on Friday, August 25, 2023, however our business office will remain open until Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10am till 2pm Monday through Saturday.**

For those who have entrusted Freeman Harris with your pre-arranged funeral services, you will have the option to switch your pre-arrangements to another funeral home of your choice, or your pre-arrangements will be transferred to our Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home, 123 Watson Drive, Dallas, Georgia 30132. Jeremey Hicks and his staff will continue to provide the same high standard of service you have come to expect.

As a holder of your pre-arranged services, you don’t need to be concerned about your arrangements, as Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home will assist you and your family at your time of need with the same guaranteed services. This change doesn’t affect the provisions or validity of your arrangements in any way. We will continue to maintain your records with the greatest of care.

We appreciate your trust in Freeman Harris Funeral Home, but most importantly we will cherish the friendships and relationships we have made over the years. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at Freeman Harris (770) 684-6551.
