This includes:
🤒 Fever or feeling hot
😷 Cough or sore throat
🤧 Runny or blocked nose
🤕 General feeling of being unwell

We’d like to give a huge thank you to the wonderful freshmen from the local high school who joined our residents for some gingerbread house fun this season. Laughter, creativity, and smiles filled the room — you truly spread holiday cheer! 😀✨

Home for the Holidays! 🏡🎅

After 8 weeks away from home between his hospital stay and recovery at The Waters of Rockport, Mr. Causey is officially heading home!

Mr. Causey came to us following treatment for a soft tissue prominence of the hypopharynx, which resulted in both a trach and PEG tube. With support from our nursing team, he learned how to care for them independently while also improving his skin integrity. He worked hard with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, gaining strength, balance, endurance, and confidence along the way.

When asked how he feels about discharge, Mr. Causey shared, “I’m just looking forward to being home.”

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Causey on his recovery and wishing him a safe, joyful return home just in time for the holidays! 👏

First, to our incredible team — every CNA, nurse, dietary worker, and each person in between — thank you for everything you do to enhance the lives of our residents each and every day. Your dedication and heart never go unnoticed.

A special thank you to our Administrator and DON for leading with such care and compassion. We appreciate you more than words can say.

To our residents’ families, thank you for entrusting us with your loved ones. And to our wonderful residents — thank you for making each day brighter. We absolutely love having you with us!
