I have nothing but great things to say about this place and my fertility journey. My husband and I both worked very closely with Nikki - who was nothing but empathetic, patient and professional. From the start, she explained everything on what to expect during an acupuncture appointment. She also gave us great recommendations on vitamins and meals which also helped guide us on our path to conception. March is Endometriosis Awareness Month
Endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus (the endometrium) grow outside the uterus, and it is a fairly common health issue seen in many women. It occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus and on other areas of the body where it doesn’t belong, such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder and re**um.

Symptoms of endometriosis can be:
*Very painful menstrual cramps *Heavy periods
*Spotting or bleeding between periods
*Abdominal pain or back pain before and during the period.
*Pain during or after in*******se *Pain with bowel movements or urination
*Fatigue
*Digestive issues such as diarrhea, constipation, bloating and nausea. *Infertility

It is important to note that many women who have endometriosis have no symptoms at all. This is called “silent endometriosis”. In fact, sometimes only symptom of endometriosis is infertility. It is imperative to have an endometrial biopsy when dealing with infertility, especially when the diagnosis is “unexplained infertility”. Our office works with some of the top endometriosis specialists and we are well versed not only professionally, but also have personally experienced endometriosis.
