Our Story

Halper Family Medicine was established in 1979 by Dr. Nicholas Halper. Dr. Halper started his practice in his house in Rockville Centre where he practiced medicine for over 30 years while raising his family. His sons watched their father take care of patients and build lasting relationships throughout the community. Eventually, Dr. Halper's sons joined the practice helping it to grow and expand. ​

Dr. Todd Halper is now the head physician of Halper Family Medicine. Along side him is his brother, Dr. Brett Halper who oversees operations, and his wife, Dr. Tanya Halper. Their goal is to provide great care to all of their patients as their father did. They're a family of physicians who not only helps patients get well but makes sure that patients stay healthy by avoiding sickness. Patients are treated as though they are family members and Halper Family Medicine does its best to help patients navigate through the complexity of today's healthcare system.
