Center for Autism & Child Development at Molloy College An Interdisciplinary Approach to Development: CACD aims to foster developmental and psychological well-being on children, adolescents, adults and families.

Interdisciplinary Team:

The CACD brings together a wide range of specialists to provide the best possible treatment for individuals with Neurodevelopmental disabilities. We offer coordinated and comprehensive evaluations, assessments and individualized treatment planning. Services:

The CACD aims to foster the developmental and psychological well-being of children, adolescents, adults and families, and to support and enhance relationships. To do so, the CACD provides interdisciplinary services to families rooted in development practiced in a social context. Services include:
o Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations
o Interdisciplinary treatment:
o DIRFloortime
o Music therapy
o Educational tutoring
o Speech and language Therapy
o Nursing/medical assistance

For those interested: An Introduction to DIRFloortime Music Therapy. Early bird through 4/15! (Synchronous Course)
Practice-based topics will include: 1) conceptualizing behaviors & interactions through a developmental lens, 2) considering biological and musical challenges that may impede interactions, 3) a systematic & practical guide for offering client-led music experiences that provide opportunities for engagement, communication and expression of agency.

Hi all, The Rebecca Center For Music Therapy at Molloy University is recruiting autistic and typical developing children for a music therapy study. Families receive free music therapy, evaluations as well as a gift card at the completion of the study. PLEASE PASS IT ON.
