Here is Isaac's approach to therapy:
"I'm always looking to make therapy a down to earth experience. For many of us, the stigma associated with mental health can lead to a stiff, nervy entry into therapy. I'm quite candid and honest in my therapeutic style, with the goal of cutting through that stigma to highlight the normalcy in our human distress. If there are issues to ""fix"" or skills to learn - we can do that. However, most of the time I have found that the pains of life do not have a clear, quick solution. In this, I consider my role to be that of a companion, ally, advocate, and caretaker alongside my client's journey through change and acceptance. I love to discuss the big questions, explore existentialism, and get curious about the unconscious mind. Strengths-based and empowerment techniques are fundamental to my work, as is an intersectional view of identity that respects the unique lived experience of each person I work with. I deeply value client feedback and am committed to repairing uncomfortable dynamics in the therapeutic relationship should they arise."
