We caught up with Dr. Hirsch to learn more about his practice’s approach to making life a little easier for new parents.

One way Hirsch Pediatrics does this is by lending families a baby scale when a newborn’s weight needs closer monitoring. Parents can weigh their baby at home and then check in with the doctor during a virtual Zoom visit, instead of having to come in person. Simple and stress-free!

Current Hirsch Families: Friendly reminder that we are CLOSED today, but our partner Hello Pediatrics 🩺 is available for emergency calls to support your family while we spend time with ours.

Just call our main line ☎️ and follow the prompt to be connected to a nurse triage, and if needed, prior to midnight, connected to a pediatrician for a video appointment.

🚨 If your child has a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

*Calls to Hello Pediatrics that result in a video appointment will be billed directly to your insurance.

Our next Baby Q&A session will be held TODAY Wednesday, December 17th, from 1–2 PM on Zoom, hosted by our Lactation Support Team: Sharon Curry, IBCLC, and Lynn Taylor, CLC.

This casual, drop-in meeting is open to all new parents and their babies. Everyone is welcome — moms, dads, breast- or formula-feeding parents, first-time parents, or those with many little ones!

Bring your questions as you navigate your baby’s first year, and our “baby experts” will provide guidance and support.

Starting December 1st, we’re excited to offer after-hours pediatric care advice through our trusted partner, Hello Pediatrics — with no waiting for a call back and video appointments available every day of the year until midnight!

💡 How it works:
📞 Call our main office number after hours
🩺 Follow the prompt to be connected immediately to an on-call triage nurse
🔎 They’ll evaluate your concerns and guide you on next steps
💻 If needed, you can schedule an emergency telemedicine visit with a pediatrician while our office is closed
🏥 During regular hours, our Hirsch Pediatrics team remains your primary contact

✨ Why we made this change:
✅ To improve your after-hours experience
✅ To help reduce unnecessary and costly Urgent Care or ER visits
✅ To ensure your child has round-the-clock access to quick, reliable pediatric care

What is special about Hirsch Pediatrics?

Simply put, my vision for Hirsch Pediatrics is to offer families an outstanding level of pediatric care in a family-centered, easily accessible, and relaxed environment. Hirsch Pediatrics was originally designed to redefine modern pediatrics including the doctor/patient relationship, the office environment, patient/parent access to medical information, and more. When your child is not feeling well, visiting your doctor’s office should relieve stress, not increase it.

At Hirsch pediatrics we believe that successful patient care stems from building relationships with patients and their families, and our patient-centered, independent practice prioritizes relationships. As a father of two and doctor to thousands, I deeply understand the joys and challenges in raising healthy and happy children. It is an honor to be chosen as your family’s pediatric practice and Hirsch Pediatrics will always strive to provide the highest quality care possible in a gentle and nurturing environment.
